Depending on the event, you may want to add a weapon of some sort. Shiney pointy things (swords, cutlasses, rapiers, and daggers spring to mind) are popular. Whips, garrets, staves, bows, and bolas are all seen occasionally. It all depends on the character you decide to portray.
